William H Colburn

William Howard Colburn, 79 of Rutledge, died on April 5, 2022.  He was a native of Alabama, the son of the late, Ellis and Ann Colburn.  Mr. Colburn was retired from the construction industry, having been a home builder.  He moved to Rutledge following his retirement.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  Mr. Colburn was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda as well as a sister, Sue White.

Mr. William Colburn is survived by his wife, Barbara and two daughters, Carole Ausborn & Ken and Susan Grosvenor & Alex.  Step children are Roger & Mala Bradford, Kevin & Kathy Davidson, William & Cherylle Bradford and Nita & Wayne Denny.  He leaves a sister, Betty Ray and grandchildren, Chris, John and Andrew as well as many step grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 9 from 11 am until 1 pm.  The funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.
