William Harold Bradbury 1962-2026
William “Bill” Harold Bradbury, 64, of Madison, GA, died suddenly at his home on March 31, 2026.
Bill was born in Madison, GA to Leonard Lancaster and Sybil Tumlin Bradbury. Bill was a graduate of Morgan County High school, and attended Georgia College and State University before joining the United States Marine Corps.
Bill spent most of his career in the golf course industry, and retired from The Creek at Hard Labor, Rutledge, GA, in 2024.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Len and Sybil Bradbury, and is survived by his wife, Candee Golden Bradbury; their children, Austin (Aubri) Pickett of Macon, GA, Grace Pickett (Brenden Alvarez) of Augusta, GA, and Robert Galloway of Athens, GA; and two grandchildren, Ryelyn Ricketson and Grayson Pickett. He looked forward to becoming a grandfather a third time in April. Bill is also survived by four sisters, Becky (David) Brown of Suches, GA, Barbara Scott of Athens, GA, Julie (Tony) Hughes of Rutledge, GA, and his twin, Emily (Ken) Jones of Lawrenceville, GA; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and a great niece.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
