Wells Alexander Hall, 79 of Madison, passed away on February 25, 2025. Mr. Hall was born in Savannah on April 19, 1945 to Oscar Alexander and Weasy Carr Hall. After graduation, he served in the U.S Navy and later married his wife, Selena Gail Tanksley. Mr. Hall worked for Flowers Baking Company for 42 years. He and his wife operated the Flowers Bread Store in Madison. He adored his family and his faithful dog, Little Bit.
Wells Hall is survived by his daughters, Amy Cape and Angie Hilsman (Steve). He also leaves grandchildren, Eli Cape (Carlina), Hailie Cummins (Josh), Steven Hilsman (Alexus), McKenzie Sheppard (Jesse) and John Wills Hilsman (Krystal). The great grandchildren are Brandi Cummins, Benji Cummins, Luke Rhoades, Clark Williams, Lelia Hilsman, Natalie Harrison and Tyler Harrison. He has one surviving sister, Kathy Brown. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his wife and a brother, Jack Earl Hall.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
