Vivian C McCullough

Vivian Mccullough of Rutledge passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the age of 75. Vivian was a devoted wife to her late husband, Gary, and a beloved mother to her two daughters, Tracie Elwer (Adam) and Teri Hilsman (Chris). Vivian was born and raised in Covington with her 3 siblings to a hard working single mother. She married the love of her life and raised two girls in Rutledge, where she lived for over 55 years. Vivian was the bookkeeper for Greenway Logging/Crossed Timber Harvesting for many years, along with other jobs such as Phil Cook Motors, Regions Bank and Cape and Davis Forest Products. She enjoyed playing games and laughing with her sisters, Miriam and Donna. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends and family.

Vivian loved being a grandmother to her 4 grandchildren; Garrett McCarty, Samuel McCarty, Emily Hilsman and Addison Hilsman. And Step- grandchildren Bryson Elwer, Hayle Elwer Kelley(Jake) and Step-great grandchildren Harley and James. 

Vivian’s visitation will be held at A E Carter Funeral Home on Saturday February 1st from 1-2pm with the service to follow at 2:30pm.
