Virginia Louise (Nash) Strickland

Virginia Louise Nash Strickland, 83 passed away on May 28, 2026.  Ms. Strickland was born in Atlanta, GA on December 21, 1942 to Sanford and Ruby Dale Brown Nash.  She was retired from the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office, Investigative Division after serving 34 years. She also worked as a realtor and volunteered as a child advocate.

Ms. Strickland is survived by her daughter, Deborah Lynn Moulton and two grandchildren, Heather Phares (Garrett) and Andrew Bell (Bridgette).  She also leaves three great grandchildren, Roy and Dalton Phares and Rilynn Bell.  She was preceded in death by a son, John Brantley Teal.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 3-5 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.
