Trumer N. Marbutt, 83 of Madison, passed away May 4, 2021. He was at his home, surrounded by his family. Mr. Marbutt was a native of Phil Campbell, Alabama. He was born October 19, 1937 to Otho and Ninon Marbutt. He was married to Shela Rosser. Mr. Marbutt served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Graybar Electrical Company where he worked in sales. Mr. and Mrs. Marbutt spent most of their lives in Conyers until moving to Lake Oconee and most recently to Madison. Mr. Marbutt enjoyed fishing, and reading, and wood working, and making people laugh.
Trumer Marbutt is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shela Marbutt and their children, Gina Mauney & Jimmy, Scott Marbutt & Sherri and Casey Marbutt & Ryan. His grandchildren are Tripp Crenshaw, Jared Crenshaw, Kimberly Marbutt, Aubrey Marbutt, Emily Marbutt and Jack Marbutt. Great grandchildren are Gracie, Adriana, Jackson, Maddie Kate, Brooklyn and Jameson Crenshaw. He also leaves siblings, Martha Norris, Hoyt Marbutt and Kenneth Marbutt.
A memorial service will be held at the A.E. Carter Funeral Home chapel on Monday, May, 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow on a later date at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
