Troy Lee Dobbs

Mr. Troy Lee Dobbs, 92 of Bostwick, died on May 6 2019.  Mr. Dobbs was born April 17, 1927 in Walton County to DeWitt and Viola Roberts Dobbs.  He was married to the late Juanita Dobbs.  Mr. Dobbs served in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War.  He was retired from the Schnadig Corporation where he was the quality assurance manager.  Mr. Dobbs was a member of Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church.  He enjoyed working his garden.  He like to fish and hunt and loved to play softball.  He was a renowned story teller.  Mr. Dobbs was also a long time Mason.

Mr. Troy Dobbs is survived by his daughter, Donna Flo and a son, Douglas Dobbs and Gail.  Mr. Dobbs leaves three grandchildren, Chad Dobbs, Jennifer Adams and Joe Flo.  Also surviving are five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7 from 6-8pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at 2pm at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at the Bostwick Cemetery.
