Treva Tyson Lee Wood was a truly amazing person! She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and loved engaging with her friends and family in and out of the church.
Treva married Paul Wood and they resided in Madison, GA. She was super intelligent and was a knowledgeable resource to many. She worked with her husband, Paul, keeping the books while he worked in the trucking business travelling highway all over the USA. Paul passed away in Dec of 2022.
Treva kept active and loved to be with her friends, 2 dogs, and going into town. She enjoyed swimming in their pool, hanging out with grandkids, and just socializing. She was very likable, engaging and friendly. She was super proud of her achievements within the "TOPS" group and loved to share the photos of her successes, along with helpful tips to all who asked. She also loved playing in the Bells Choir at the Methodist church in Madison, GA.
Treva was a true fighter and strong lady, in a good way. She was wise and had a discerning spirit. She stood strong on her beliefs and her boundaries. Her heritage was Russian-Ukrainian, and she was born and raised in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, with her mom, Lydia Karpenchu Lee and Treva's Grandmother. Lydia was from Saskatchewan. Her father was Burgess Herbert Lee, D.D.S. from Miami FL. Her mom relocated to Ellijay, GA when Treva was a young adult, with Treva eventually working and buying her personal home in Woodstock, GA. Treva worked with the Wood family for many years, where she was included and beloved by the family, before dating and marrying Paul.
The main photo you see of Treva was a pledge of honor for her surviving Breast Cancer, she loved this photo. She also endured the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, chronic fatigue, Sjogren’s and had multiple issues/surgeries on her spine, she took on every challenge with a smile on her face and the perseverance to overcome. Unfortunately, the car accident on January 2nd is what eventually took her from us.
Treva was a fun, lovable, humorous, charitable and a spirited lady. She had the most adorable laugh that would make you laugh whenever you were around her. Her love for animals was always at the forefront and she leaves behind her two doggie fur-babies, Lady and Molly.
