Sharon Denise (Foster) Banks

Sharon Denise Foster Banks, 57 of Madison, passed away on April 12, 2024.  She was surrounded by her family.  Ms. Banks was born in Madison on April 25, 1966.  Her parents were Elmer and Elizabeth Inman Foster.  She grew up in Morgan County and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She loved her family and community and spending time with them.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and others.  Ms. Banks had two children of her own but helped raise many others.

Sharon Banks is survived by two children, Brittany Johnson & husband, Quantavious and Reggie Banks.  Her grandchildren are Drema, Anari, Quantavious and Harmony Johnson.  Her siblings are Betty Ann Tolbert & Calvin, Diane Young & Patrick, Carolyn Sims, Juanita Dowdy, Charlie Foster & Earleen, Willie Foster & Lisa, and Jerome Foster.   She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Ms. Banks was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmo Foster, Elmer Foster, Jr and Larry Foster.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19 at Noon in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.
