Scott Thornton McCurley, 52 of Madison, died May 31, 2021. Scott was born in Madison on November 30, 1968 to Larry and Dale Willis McCurley. Scott was a graduate of Morgan County High School and worked in construction. Scott was an avid UGA football fan, he enjoyed hunting and playing golf. He attended Madison Baptist Church.

Scott McCurley is survived by his father, Larry and his sister, Sandy McCurley as well as other extended family and friends.

The family of Scott McCurley will receive friends on Friday, June 4 from 11AM until Noon at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Noon in the chapel.
