Rosalyn (Cochran) McBurnett

Rosalyn McBurnett, 88 of Marietta, died October 24, 2021.  She was born September 17, 1933 in Apalachee, GA to Jessie Cliff Cochran and Willie Malcolm Cochran.  Mrs. McBurnett was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  She was married to the late, Hilliard H. McBurnett and was a retired medical assistant.  She was a graduate of Piedmont University.  She grew up in Apalachee and was a member or Apalachee United Methodist Church.

Rosalyn McBurnett is survived by her children, Mike McBurnett (Laura) and Sherri Moore (John).  Her grandchildren are Meredith, Trevor and Michael and a great grandchild Emmett.  Mrs. McBurnett also leaves a sister, Sylvia McCommon and a brother, Henry Cochran.

The family will receive friends at 2 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The graveside service will follow at the Apalachee Cemetery.
