Robert Timothy Bell

Robert Timothy Bell, age 58 went home to be with Jesus during the morning hours of June 20, 2022.  Tim was born February 5, 1964 in Habersham County to Robert Freddie Bell and Joann Shepherd Bell.  He is the brother of Pam Newsome.  Tim married the love of his life, Rhonda on July 12, 1981.  The have spent almost 41 years loving one another and raising their family.  Tim was the greatest father of all time, according to his children, Jessica Bane and Brian, Laurie Beth Glore and Allen and Kirk Bell and Sam.  He is Papa T to the biddies, as he called them, Preston and Annabelle Glore and Laney and Lily Bane.  He loved the Grands with all his heart.  He was Big Tim to his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

If you knew Tim, you loved Tim.  He had a talent for making people laugh.  He could take anything and cause everyone in the room to burst into laughter.  He loved life.  He loved his home and took great pride in the appearance of his yard.  He love being the “Mailman”.  He loved mailbox chats with his customers, solving the world’s problems and praying with them.  He loved his coworkers.  He was the epitome of a football fan.  Rise up and Roll Tide.

But first and foremost, he loved God and family.  His children were his greatest accomplishment.  He was extremely proud to be their Daddy.  He loved his wife the way Christ loves the church.  He loved his Jesus more than anything and he spent the last two and a half years telling everyone he encountered about the love of Jesus and his goodness.  Great man, amazing father, wonderful husband, child of God.

The family of Tim Bell will receive friends on Wednesday, June 22 from 6-8 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 10 AM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
