Peggy (Estes) Grubbs

Peggy Joyce Estes Grubbs, 70 of Madison, died July 16, 2022.  She was born in Calhoun County, Alabama on September 22, 1951.  Her parents were the late, Curtis Talmedge Estes and Imogene Owens Estes.  She was married to Kenneth Douglas Grubbs, who preceded her in death.  Peggy was self-employed as a farmer.  She was a long-time member of Brownwood Baptist Church and loved her church family. 

Peggy Grubbs is survived by her children, Kenneth Brandon Grubbs, Clinton Douglas Grubbs(Mindy Grubbs), Christy Leigh Henson. 

Surviving Grandchildren are: Kaleigh Hammond (Clarissa Hammond) Triston Grubbs, Breonnah Grubbs, Karissa Grubbs, Emma Vaughn, Carter Brown, Melissa LeClair (Adam LeClair), John Grubbs (Hannah Grubbs), Bryan Jenkins, Dylan Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Brittany Manion(Christopher Manion), Amanda Storm(Jimmy Storm), Jacque Whited(Adam Whited), Jennifer Cromer. & The late JW Key. 

Mrs. Grubbs Great grandchildren are: IvyRae Grubbs, William Manion, Karleigh LeClair, Kaden Storm, Maddox Storm, Dalton Storm, Olivia Whited, Duston Key, Madison Key, Gracelynn Key. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-2:30 PM at Brownwood Baptist Church.  The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm and interment will follow at the church cemetery.
