Obituary

Norman Stanton Robertson, 84 of Rutledge died May 2, 2020 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.  He was a native of Morgan County.  He was the son of the late, James W. and Agnes Haymore Robertson.  He was born April 19, 1936.  Mr. Robertson served in the U.S. Army.  He was married to Vesmar Beck.  They lived in Loganville for many years before returning to Rutledge twenty years ago.  Mr. Robertson retired as a truck driver from ABF.  He was a member of Centennial Baptist Church.  He served as a deacon for many years.  He loved his family and enjoyed working in his yard.

Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Vesmar Robertson and two children, Amy Hofer & Shawn and Phil Robertson & Lisa.  He also leaves four grandchildren, Landon Robertson, Cassidy Hofer, Henry Hofer and Trenton Robertson.  He also leaves two brothers, Sammy and Kenneth.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family has not scheduled a memorial service.
