Nina Joe (Zachry) Cofer

Nina Joe Zachry Cofer, 77 of Madison died October 17, 2021 in Eatonton.  Mrs. Cofer was born in Bogart on June 9, 1944 to Abner Zachry and Lottie Rider Zachry.  She spent most of her life in Morgan County.  Many will remember her for stocking the Hallmark cards at Wal-Mart.  Others will remember her growing up around her parents store on Athens Highway.  Nina Joe was a member of First Independent Methodist Church in Eatonton.  She was married to the late James Cofer.  She is survived by a large, loving family.  Her daughters are Lottie Moss Crow, Jamie Moss Brook, Abby Campbell & Michael and Doedee Moss.  Her grandchildren are Nicholas Tyler Campbell (Amy), Jacob Lee Campbell (Hannah), Caleb Jordan Moss, Graeme Michael Brook, Mason Joseph Brook and Dylan Zachry Moss.  Her great grandchildren are Caleb Blaze Crow, Taylor McKenzie Campbell, Andrew Tyler Campbell, Carter Grey Campbell and Mayer Lee Campbell.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Zachry Crow.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 23 at 11 AM at the First Independent Methodist Church 107 Imperial Church Road, NW Eatonton, GA.
