Nannette Patrick (Walker) Erb

Nannette Walker Patrick Erb of Madison, age 83, passed away Monday, at Savannah Court in Greensboro.  She was born on June 30, 1936 to the late Robert Shepherd Walker and Elizabeth Wells Walker.  She graduated Morgan County High School in 1955.  She married Clinton Lamar Patrick on October 28, 1955.  After the death of her first husband, she married Paul Erb of St. Augustine, Florida, in January 1999.  She worked at Morgan County Middle School and retired from Sun Trust Bank in Madison.  Nannette was a member of Madison Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Patrick in November 1993, her second husband, Paul Erb in October 2008 and her brother, Robert Wells Walker in February 2019.  She is survived by two children, Michael Patrick and wife, Margaret, of Greshamville, Georgia and Libby Powell and husband, David of St. Augustine, Florida.  She had five grandchildren, Clint (Katie) Patrick, Cody (Joanie) Patrick, Rachel (Jason) Kinsaul, Austin Powell and Morgan Powell.  Nannette had six great grandchildren, Brady and Darcie Kate Patrick, Faith, Cameron and Mallory Patrick and James Patrick Kinsaul.  She is survived by a sister, Penny Walker West (George) of Madison, Georgia.

Nannette (Nannie) enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She loved watching them participate in athletics and other school events.  She was also a wonderful cook and loved to entertain family and friends.  She was always on the go and enjoyed travelling with friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19 from 5-7 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 11 AM in the chapel.
