Nancy (Beal) Gardner

Nancy Beal Gardner, 74 of Eatonton, passed away on July 27, 2025.  Nancy was born January 21, 1951 in Apalachee to Prior and Frances Barnett Beal.  She was a loving wife to Chuck Gardner for 41 years. Her many nieces and nephews often called her Mama Nancy. Mrs. Gardner worked at Wellington for over 30 years.  She was a long-time member of Apalachee Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed crafts, especially ceramics.  She will be remembered as a great cook and a devoted UGA Bulldog fan.  She loved flowers and animals but most of all, she loved her family.

Nancy Gardner is survived by her husband, Chuck and her siblings: Betty Jo Armor, Hazel Nicholson, Bobby Beal and Charles Beal.  She was preceded in death by her parents as well as sisters, Diane Malcom and Carolyn Wood and a brother, Richard Beal.  She also leaves three step-children and their families, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30 from 10-11 AM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 11 AM in the chapel.  A private family graveside will follow at the Almand Cemetery.
