Mildred Alexander West

Mildred Alexander West, 84 of Rutledge, died February 17, 2020.  Mrs. West was born August 31, 1935 in Corinth, MS to Oliver Young and Anna Belle Alexander Young.  She was married to Gene West.  Mrs. West was a long-time member of Centennial Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time tending her flowers.  She taught Sunday School for many years and loved her church family. 

Mrs. West is survived by her husband, Gene and three children, Eddie West & Dana, Brent West & Robin and Debbie West Ingalsbe & David.  Her grandchildren are Deanna Moore & Joe, JB West & Kristen, Blake West, Nate Ingalsbe, Nicole Ingalsbe, Fallam Stewart, Jennifer Stevens, Abigail Ingalsbe and Lilly Beth Ingalsbe.  Her great grandchildren are Houston, Camden, Bryce, Brooklyn and Brantley West.  Mrs. West is survived by three siblings, Vivian Gibson & Louie, Oliver Lee Young & Wanda and Nedda Jo King.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19 from 5-8 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 2 PM at Centennial Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
