Michael Wayne Rogers

Michael Wayne Rogers, 68 of Madison, died June 26, 2020.  He was surrounded by his family.  Mr. Rogers was born in Chamblee, GA on October 2, 1951 to Alvin and Martha Ivy Rogers.  He was married to Marian Greeson.  Mr. Rogers worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.  Most recently he worked for Oldcastle.  He was a farmer at heart.  He loved all animals but especially horses and all his dogs.  He enjoyed fishing and water sports but more than anything else, he loved his family.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Marian and children, Ronnie Wayne Dutton, Jr. & Samantha Ann, Michael Shane Rogrs, April Michelle Rogers, Lajuana Lea Dutton and Michelle Shea & Patrick.  He also leaves grandchildren, Eryn and Emily Dutton and Tripp and Reagyn Shea.  Mr. Rogers also has asister, Martha Ann Baker & Terry.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 11am until 3pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral  service will begin at 3pm in the chapel.
