Michael Anthony Pearson

Michael Anthony (Mike) Pearson, 63 of Madison, passed away on February 17, 2021.  Mike was born in Fairplay on June 20, 1957.  He was self employed for many years.  He was a co-owner of Georgia Bedding in Eatonton.  Mike was married to Donna Jo Rhoades Pearson.  He enjoyed trips to the beach and the mountains and liked to keep up with friends on Facebook.  However, his greatest joy came from time spent with his family.

Mike Pearson is survived by his wife, Donna and two daughters, Melissa Rutherford & Steven and Miranda Allison Pearson & Brett.  He also leaves two grandchildren, Ryan Rutherford and Evan Rutherford. Mike also leaves siblings,  Linda & Buddy Jones, Frances & Robert Campbell and Edward Pearson and sister-in-law, Marsha Pearson.  Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Pearson and a sister, Elizabeth Storey and his mother Bertie Ballard.  Many other nieces, nephews and friends and family also survive.  

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 22 at 1 PM at Freedom Worship Center.  The funeral service will be held at 2 PM with graveside services following at the Madison City Cemetery.
