Michael Anthony Cranford, born on April 21, 1959, in Macon, Georgia, passed away January 30, 2025 at the age of 65.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Cranford; his daughter, Crystal Hofer; his mother, Inez Preston (Mark); his father, Richard Cranford (Marilyn); and his sisters: Tina Moon (Alan), Wendy Watkins (Clint), and Tammy Hoss (Mike). Michael also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
Michael was known as a devoted husband, father, and son. A hardworking provider, he dedicated much of his life to his career at Georgia Pacific. His strong work ethic and commitment to his family were evident in everything he did. Above all, Michael treasured his time with loved ones, always putting his family first.
His warmth, generosity, and steadfast love will be remembered by all who knew him. Michael’s passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his legacy of love, devotion, and hard work will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Michael will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 1:00pm at Buckhead City Cemetery.
