Melvin Charles Smith

Melvin Charles Smith, 81 of Rutledge, died at his home on July 19, 2022.  Mr. Smith was a native of Thendara, NY.  He was the son of Wesley and Dorothy Smith.  He served for six years in the U.S. Navy and later spent his professional career with Westinghouse and AT&T.  Mr. Smith was married to his wife, Patricia.  They lived in Tucker before moving to Rutledge.  He is survived by his wife as well as children, Robert & Shannon, Charles & Lisa Gail, Chris & Natasha and Anne.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22 at 1 PM in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.
