Mason Neal Worthey, age 17, passed away on March 6th, 2026. He was an honor student at Morgan County High School. He loved hard and felt deeply with a giant heart. He showed kindness and generosity to everyone around him. Mason could see deep into people's hearts and would absorb their feelings and emotions as his own.
Mason is survived by his parents, Chris and Ashley Worthey, his brother Easton Worthey, maternal grandparents Randy and Becky Sewell, paternal grandparents David and Sandy Worthey, aunt Jessica Sewell, uncle Tim and Cathy Sewell, uncle Tim Jr and Aimee Sewell, aunt Leah and Jarad Robinson, aunt Stacy and Kevin Kelley, cousins Dylan Robinson, Baylee and Harper Sewell, and Kanaan Kelley. He also leaves behind his beloved four-legged sister, Evie Pearl.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mason's honor to Morgan County Humane Society.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1-3 PM at Covenant Park Church. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM.
