Mark F. McMillan, 63, of Buckhead, passed away, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 on the way to Morgan Medical Center.
Mr. McMillan was born to the late William and Mildred McMillan in Atlanta. He obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University. He was retired from Southern Company and currently employed by AGT Services. He will be remembered for his love of family and sharing his passion in music, the outdoors, and volunteering his time at Lake Oconee Academy, Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club as well as supporting Oconee Performing Arts Society (OPAS) & (CASA). In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Frank McMillan.
Survivors include his wife, Joy McMillan; Daughters, Lindsey Carreker (Jeff), Maddie McMillan & fiance Ryan Lynn, Lily Sumner (Dalton); Grandchildren Ava, Lila, Archer; Sisters, Carol Waldrep (Jerry), Crystal West (Ken), Mary West (Nathan), Gina Schmidt (John); Brother, Bill McMillan (Shirley); Sister-in-law, Adele McMillan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
