Mr. Lamar Johnson, 72 of Eatonton, died August 29, 2022 at his home. Lamar was born June 26, 1950 in Swainsboro, GA. He spent his career as a firefighter and medic with the Gwinnett County Fire Department. He also worked at Eastside Medical Center and Morgan Memorial Hospital for many years. Lamar was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Lamar loved spending time on his motorcycle when he was working and helping others. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria.
