Kenneth A. Peters

Kenneth Aaron Peters, 77 of Madison, passed away on April 19, 2023.  Kenny was a native of Morgan County.  He was born May 1, 1945 to Willie and Olive Peters.  He was married to the late Sylvia Durden Peters.  Kenny retired from Hunt and Company where he worked as a machine operator.  Later he went to work for Wal-Mart until he retired a second time.  He was a devoted husband and father.  He also loved the UGA Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves baseball.

Kenny Peters was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia.  He is survived by his children, Phillip Malcom & Diane, Gail Whitton and Brad Peters & Summer.  His grandchildren are Michael Malcom, Michelle Armstrong, Crystal Reynolds, Rene Herring, Nikki Stewart, Lacey Whitton, J.J. Malcom, Ashlee Peters and Weston Peters.  Great Grandchildren are Austin, Katlyn, Jaxon, Colin, Landon, Lexie, Wesley, Mattie, Liam, Lila, Colton, Oliver, Ellie, Henry and Mae.  Kenny also leaves siblings, Runae Daws, Jeanette Stapp, Ida Webb, Patricia Knight and Sammy Peters.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, from 6-8 pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at 2 pm  at the Madison City Cemetery.
