Kenneth Maurice Farmer, born August 11, 1945, in Good Hope, Georgia, to William and Ella Ruth Bursen Farmer, passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 79.
He is survived by his children: Denice Batchelor, Deanna Ruark (Doug), and Kathy Jones (Andy); grandchildren: Amber & Adam Bates, Adam & Emily Ruark, MaRanda Batchelor, Brandyn Batchelor, Madison Farmer, Grace & Jackson Powell, and Caroline Farmer; and his siblings: Joyce Reynolds, William Farmer, and Carolyn Watson.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wives, Allene D. Farmer and Joan Farmer; his brother, Carlton Farmer; sons, Randy Collins and Eddie Farmer; son-in-law, Randy Batchelor; and grandson, Jeremy Ruark.
A proud veteran, Kenneth served in the National Guard and was a dedicated farmer by profession. His love for the land, his family, and his community was evident in everything he did. He was a kind and hardworking man whose legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, and those who knew him.
Visitation and a memorial service will be held beginning at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Braswell Holiness Church in Good Hope, GA.
Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Braswell Congregational Holiness Church.
