John Hood

John Kelly Hood of Madison, Ga. died on Thursday December 29, 2023 following a brief illness. He was born on April 23, 1967 at Morgan Memorial Hospital in Madison. His parents were the late Glyn Craig Hood and the late Nancy Inglett Hood. He is survived by two brothers, Jeff Hood of Watkinsville and Sammy Hood of Canton. He is also survived by two children, Hayley Hood and Hayden Hood, and four grandchildren, Leah, Christopher, Lane and Logan. John Hood graduated from Morgan County High School in 1985. The majority of his working career was spent at Delta Airlines. Everyone is invited to the graveside service for John Hood on Sunday January 7, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Madison City Cemetery. Boyd Johnson of Treasuring Christ Church will serve as the officiating minister. A.E. Carter Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of arrangements.
