James Bobby Durand, Jr

Mr. Jimmy Durand, 64 of Bostwick , passed away on April 22, 2021. He was the son of James and Doris Harwell Durand. Jimmy was born in Monroe on October 20, 1956. Jimmy served his career in law enforcement, working with the Athens Clarke County Sheriff’s Department. He was married to Rhonda Almand. Since retirement, he has enjoyed music, reading and watching old movies.

Jimmy Durand is survived by his wife, Rhonda, his mother, Doris and his sisters, Joyce Schlipf and Janie Armstrong. He also leaves numerous other family members.

A memorial service will be announced later.
