Jim Meier

James Leland “Jim” Meier. 79 of Madison, passed away on April 5, 2024.  Jim was born in California on September 13, 1944.  He was married to the late, Linda Craven Meier.  Jim was a tractor mechanic by trade.  He however, was capable of building and repairing most any type of equipment.  Jim was also an inventor.  He owned Madison Tractor & Equipment.  Jim enjoyed fishing and also travelling.

Jim Meier is survived by his daughter, Angie Heusser & Tim and two grandchildren, Justin Heusser & Gloria and Megan Morris & Alex.  He also leaves three great grandchildren, Olivia and Caroline Heusser and Ellie Morris as well as a special nephew, Dan Lundberg.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 1 PM in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.
