Jessie Thomas Almand, Jr.

Jessie Thomas Almand, Jr, 55 of Bostwick, passed away April 12, 2023.  Tommy was the son of the late Jesse Thomas and Lorene Watkins Almand.  He was born May 14, 1967 in Monroe.  Tommy worked as a children’s and youth minister at Brownwood Baptist, Freeman Creek and Oasis Faith Churches.  He last worked as a medical coder.  Tommy was an avid UGA bulldog fan and member of Rutledge Baptist Church.  Tommy will be remembered for his love of his family.

Tommy Almand is survived by his sister, Rhonda Durand and brother, Mark Almand.  Also surviving are Stephen Almand, Starla Almand-Huff, Devin Almand, Heyleigh Almand and Mark Almand, III.  Tommy also leaves several cousins and other friends and family.

The family of Tommy Almand will receive friends on Monday, April 17 from Noon until 2 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 2 PM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at the Hawkins Cemetery.  ©2023 A.E. Carter Funeral Home, INC
