Harold Jeffrey Head

Mr. Jeff Head, 63 of Madison, passed away on February 2, 2026.  Jeff was the son of the late Harold and Charma Callahan Head.  He was born May 21, 1962 in Walton County.  Jeff spent most of his life in Morgan County.  He was a graduate of Morgan County High School.  He spent his career working as a carpenter.  He loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors.  He was a football fan and loved music.  He played drums in a band until recent years.

Jeff Head is survived by his fiancé, Dee Elkins.  He leaves one daughter, Amy Head and two grandchildren, Hunter Bell and Skylar Bell.  Jeff also leaves siblings, Judy Mitchell, Kim Mayo and Joe Sargent.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Sherrie Levell.

The family of Jeff Head will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026 at A.E. Carter Funeral Home from 5-7 PM
