Jeanette (Hester) Brewer

Mrs. Jeanette Hester Brewer of the Godfrey community, died September 15, 2021.  She was born in Walton County to Early and Willie Armistead Hester.  She married William G. Brewer, Jr.  Mrs. Brewer ran the bus station in Madison and owned and operated Jeanette's Fried Chicken.  She is survived by three children, Linda (Keith) Youmans, Sherri (Robert) Smith and Bill (Gaylene) Brewer.  Her grandchildren are Bridgett, Will, Cheryl, Tiffany, Robert, Shane, Leslie, Jason and Buster.  Her great grandchildren are Zander, Ava, Riley, Chantz, Wes, Devon, Lacey, Brooklyn, Cameron, Corey, Clayton, Mason, Abigail, Ian and Parker.  Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her husband as well as a daughter, Lynne Brewer.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 19 at A.E. Carter Funeral Home from 2-3 PM.  The funeral service will be held at 3 PM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at the Antioch Church Cemetery.
