Janet Renee Huff, age 60, of Morgan County, passed away on March 27, 2026. She was born on May 12, 1965, at Morgan Memorial Hospital to W.S. Harvey and Betty Harvey.
Janet was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister who loved her family unconditionally. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support were the foundation of her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, W.S. Harvey, and her beloved son, Shawn Huff, both of Madison.
Janet is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Huff of Madison; her daughter, Mallory Huff Hicks and Joe of Madison; and her son, Richard “Joey” Huff and Shannon, serving in the United States Coast Guard and grandsons, Nathan and James. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Harvey of Buckhead; her siblings, Gena Harvey Jordan of Buckhead, Thomas Lee Harvey of Newborn, Julie Harvey Mines (Keith) of Rutledge, Tammy Harvey Chaffin (Mike) of Godfrey, Wade Anderson (Donna) of Madison, and Mary Harvey Young (Robert) of Leary; as well as seventeen cherished nieces and nephews.
A proud graduate of Morgan County High School, Class of 1983, Janet found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved crocheting, spending time at the beach, and watching YouTube videos. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family.
Janet’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
