Obituary

Jacqueline Marshall Bell, 80 of Buckhead, passed away on July 13, 2023 at her home.  She was surrounded by her family.  She was born on October 12, 1942 in Oconee County to Dorris and Ena Miller Marshall.  She later married James Lester Bell.  They lived in Morgan County and operated the family dairy.  Mrs. Bell loved the dairy and helping in all aspects of the operation.  She enjoyed working in her yard, gospel music and cooking for her family.  Mrs. Bell loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jackie Bell was preceded in death by her husband, James Lester Bell, a son, Bobby Bell, a grandson, Randy Bell and siblings, Leroy Marshall and Sandy Newborn.  She is survived by her children, Angie Webb & Tim, Danny Bell & Ginny and Chris Bell. Her grandchildren are Brad, Dusty, Clint and Aaron Sidwell, Chelsea Bonner, Caleb Bell, Allison Autry, Wade Bell and April Bridges, as well as ten great grandchildren.  She also leaves siblings, Betty Hayes and Franklin Marshall.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 17 from 6-8 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18 at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at the Buckhead Cemetery.
