Imogene Miller Lord of Madison passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the wonderful age of 103. She was born to the late Ruby and Joseph Miller on May 4, 1921. Imogene went by many names such as Ms Ima, Aunt Immie, but the most beloved names were Mama and Mema.

Imogene married Jack Lord on November 25, 1939 and they were blessed with three children: Betty, Jacky, and Ann. They lived their entire married lives in Morgan County, Georgia. She and Jack were founding members of Faith Baptist Church in Madison and she served as a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years. Throughout her life, she enjoyed camping in the Great Smoky Mountains and spending time with her family.
Imogene is survived by her daughter, Betty (Gary) Stewart, and her son, Jacky (Debby) Lord.
