Hershel Carroll Scruggs

Hershel Carroll Scruggs, 74 of Madison, died on December 19, 2021.  Mr. Scruggs was surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Scruggs was born September 13, 1947 in Culloden, GA.  He worked as a machine specialist at Leggett & Platt for 30 years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his family.  He was preceded by his wife, Rhonda Pinson Scruggs.

Mr. Scruggs is survived by his children, Tanessa Welch(Corey), Cindy Scruggs, Austin Scruggs (Becky) & Samuel Scruggs.  Grandchildren are Emily Rayne Stewart, Payne Stewart and Brantley Scruggs.

The family will receive friends on December 22 from 6-8 PM.  The funeral service will be held on December 23 at 1 PM in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Austin and Samuel Scruggs, Austin Waddell, Bubba Jewel, Wesley Alldredge and Little Jimmy Smith.
