Helen (Thrasher) Long

Helen Thrasher Long, 88 of Apalachee, passed away on September 20, 2023.  She was the daughter of  the late, Francis Samual and Clyde Beal Thrasher.  She is survived by her children, Penny Harrington, Mark Long Susie Long and Andy Long. She also leaves two brothers, Roger Thrasher and Roy Thrasher, Jr.  Her grandchildren are Mathew Long, Adam Howard, Brad Long, Alex Harrington, Amy Long, Steven Long and Casey Long.  Great grandchildren are Evan Howard, Brylie Long, Elena Howard, Lila Long, Noah Long, Emma Long and Avery Long.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 23 from 6-8 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at Apalachee Baptist Church on Sunday, September 24 at 2 PM.  Interment will follow at the Almand Cemetery.
