Gloria Herndon Crew, 84 of Madison, passed away on the morning of June 28, 2026. She was at her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Crew was born to Robert Lewis Herndon and Willie Maude Malcolm Herndon in Bostwick on April 28, 1942. She was married to the late William Crew. Mrs. Crew was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family and her church. Mrs. Crew was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She served as church secretary for a time and taught Sunday School for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, especially for her family.
Gloria Crew was preceded in death by her husband, William Crew. She is survived by children, Bill Crew (Shonda), Donna Crew Jones (Bryan) and Rhonda Crew Garrison (Brian); Grandchildren, Amber Davis (Brooks), Ashley Jones, Emma Garrison and Olivia Garrison and Great Grandchild, Tatum Davis.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Bethany Baptist Church from 10AM until 11 AM. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM.
