Donna (Cox) McMichael

Donna Cox McMichael died on December 21, 2021 following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Donna was born February 18, 1943 in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late Archie and Etta Cox.  Donna married the love of her life, Terry McMichael, in 1964 in Anderson, South Carolina following his graduation from Clemson University.  Lifelong Clemson Tiger fans, Donna and Terry lived in numerous US cities before settling in Madison, Georgia in 1981.  She is survived by her beloved husband, two children Lisa Richter (Fritz) and Trey McMichael (Jodie) and sister Joyce Lowe (Larry).  She loved being “Nonna” and will be greatly missed by Kathryn Hart (Ed) and Allison Richter, Ben and Ryan McMichael, Sara and Zach Moore, Clara and Thomas White, and Madison Hardy.

A memorial service celebrating her life is scheduled for 12 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022 at A. E. Carter Funeral Home in Madison Georgia.
