David L Moss

Mr. David Lynn Moss, 71 of Newborn, died May 10, 2022.  He was born in Madison on January 15, 1951 to Farris and Juliette Adcock Moss.  He went on to marry Peggy Hollis.  David operated his family dairy for many years.  He was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and still enjoyed farming.  He loved time spent riding his Harley Davidson and time spent with grandchildren.

David Moss is survived by his wife, Peggy Moss and four children, David Moss (Brandi), Jaime Moss Stafford (Chad), Josh Moss and Jon Moss (April).   His grandchildren are Logan, Jack, Ryan, Dylan, Avery, Gunner, Gray, Jake, Jack and Evan.  Mr. Moss is also survived by his mother, Juliette Moss and a brother Dennis Moss (Mary Loyd).  He also leaves nieces and nephews.  Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his father, Farris Moss.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 14 from 1 – 3PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 3PM.  Interment will follow at the Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
