Dan Kelly Lowring

Dan Kelly Lowring, 87 of Madison, died November 10, 2021.  Mr. Lowring was born on July 1, 1934 in Burnettsville, IN to Charles and Alma Lowring.  He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, aboard the USS Arcadia.  He graduated from Ball State University in 1959. His career spanned over fifty years in the insurance and investment industry with The Guardian.  He was married to Sharon Lowring, his wife of sixty five years, and was father to their two sons.  Mr. Lowring was a member of Madison First United Methodist Church, and his life was dedicated to service to others through a number of local charitable organizations.

Dan Lowring is survived by his wife, Sharon and two sons, Brian Lowring (Julie) and Dan Lowring (Abbie) as well as four grandchildren, Benjamin, Kevin, Reagan and Emma, and one great grandson, Elijah.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2 PM at Madison First United Methodist Church.
