Cody Franklin Chase

Our beloved son, Cody Chase, passed away October 16, 2023 at 2:44pm.  He was out walking his dog, Coco, and was struck by a car.  He was a kind, giving soul.  To know him was to love him.  He loved to help anyone, at anytime and in any way but he never wanted credit for it.  Cody graduated from Morgan County High School on May 27, 2022.  He loved science and computers.  His favorite thing to do was build computers and spoil his sisters.  He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Alice Hardman, his great grandparents, Aurther & Shirley Davis and his grandmother, Cheryl Wilingham.  Cody leaves behind his parents Lacey & Rodney Schoenfeld, his sisters, Pamela and Alice and his grandparents, Rosemary & Chris Bowen and Pam & Gene Morgan, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family of Cody Chase will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24 from Noon until 2 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 2 PM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at the Davis Family Cemetery in Newborn.
