Clarence William Poole

Clarence William Poole, 83 of Buckhead, died December 4, 2018.  Mr. Poole was born July 28, 1935 in Greensboro to Clarence G. and Flora McKracken Poole.  He spent most of his life in the Swords community.  Mr. Poole is retired as a heavy equipment operator.  He was married to Sarah Strange 55years ago.  He was a member of Swords Methodist Church.  He enjoyed gardening as well as hunting and fishing in his younger days. 

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Sarah and a son, Ken Poole & Betty.  His grandchildren are Mia Adams, Ty & Amanda McKissick and Adam Peppers.  Great grandchildren are Courtney, Savannah and Madison Adams, Logan and Carson McKissick and Kynlee Richter.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6-8PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1PM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at the Buckhead City Cemetery.
