Christopher Robert Eddy

Christopher Robert Eddy, 35 of Buckhead, passed away on September 4, 2024 while fighting a vehicle fire.  Chris was employed by the Greene County Fire Department.  Chris was the son of Bob Eddy and Lisa Dalton.  Born on April 30, 1989 in Athens, Chris was raised in Greene County. Chris made fire service his career after his high school graduation. He worked for Putnam County and later Greene County, attaining the rank of Battalion Chief.  Chris spent many of his days off working shifts for the Morgan County Fire Department.  Chris was married to Lindsey Sisk Eddy and made their home in Buckhead.  Chris was a member of Covenant Park Church in Madison.

Chris Eddy is survived by his wife, Lindsey and son, Bryson Sisk.  He also leaves behind his mother and father, Lisa Dalton and Bob Eddy.  He also leaves his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marty and Kay Sisk as well as Loyd Sisk and Allison.  Chris also is survived by numerous aunts and uncles as well as his fire service family.

The family of Chris Eddy will receive friends on Sunday, September 8 from Noon until 3:00 PM in the competition gym of Morgan County High School.  The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM in the gym.  Interment will follow at the Buckhead City Cemetery.
