Christeen (Poole) Brown

Christeen Poole Brown, 86 of Rutledge, died February 18, 2020.  She was surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Brown was born November 1, 1933 in Lyons, GA to Delius and Lucere Dickerson Poole.  She was married to the late, Lonnie Brown.  Mrs. Brown was retired as a medical assistant.  She worked for many years for Dr. Eduardo Cossio in Madison.  She was a member Centennial Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fishing and gardening and time spent with her family.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, Barbara Brown Bullock, Ronnie James Brown (Lorraine), Lonnie Wayne Brown (Judy) and James David Brown (Nicole).  She leaves ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Mr.s Brown’s family received friends on Friday from 6-8 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22 at 1 PM at Centennial Baptist Church.  Interment followed at the Rutledge City Cemetery.
