Charles “Chip” Slaughter, 65 of Buckhead, died December 18, 2021. Mr. Slaughter was the son of Brown and Beatrice McClain Slaughter. He was born July 9, 1956 in Redan, GA. He was retired from General Motors. Chip was married to Corrine B. Slaughter. He was a member of Redeemer Church and Chapter Vice President of Light & Thunder Motorcycle Club. He was a competitive shooter of muzzleloader rifles and trained other champion shooters.
Chip Slaughter is survived by his wife, Corrine and children, Jessie Slaughter, Casey Mizell, Jody Probart and Savannah Douthat. He was preceded in death by a son, Joey Hoffman. His grandchildren are Shawn, Nick and Samantha Probart and Collin Douthat.
A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Church of Madison on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at 1 PM.
