Carol (Rommelfanger) Jones

Carol Joan Jones (Rommelfanger/Good), 82, of Madison GA (formerly Peru, IN) went home to our Lord on July 31st, 2022. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Norris (Red) and Margaret Rommelfanger, her sister, Patricia Sonnier, and her sons, Steve Sawyer and Brett Good. She is survived by her husband, Jim Jones, her sister, Elizabeth Johnson, her son, Joe Sawyer and her daughter, Beth MacConnell, as well as, her 8 grandchildren, Jeremy Sawyer, Erica Darland, Michael Sawyer, Kathleen McGhan, Janelle Sawyer, Kara Nelson, Marisha Good, Alaina Sawyer and her 7 great-grandchildren, Braeden Hendershott, Shaelynn Dishner, Olive Sawyer, Hazel Sawyer, Maximus Kronick, Tallulah Kronick and Elliot Nelson.

Carol passed from this life in the same manner in which she lived it – with unshakeable courage, witty humor and beautiful grace. She will forever be missed.

A memorial service is planned for August 4th, 2022 at 2pm in Madison GA at the Madison First United Methodist Church. Stories and/or condolences can be left for the family at www.aecarterfuneralhome.com.
