Carl Roosevelt Deaver

Carl Roosevelt Deaver, born on April 28, 1932, in North Carolina, passed away after a long and well-lived life. He was the son of George Franklin "Frank" Deaver and Vella Morrow Deaver, who preceded him in death.

Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army before beginning a long career with the Ford Motor Company. Through years of dedicated service in automobile production, he earned the position of inspector, where his strong work ethic and attention to detail were well respected. After he retired to Rutledge Georgia he also became a barber and cut hair.

Outside of work, Carl had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. He enjoyed riding well into his 90s, embracing the freedom of the open road and the adventures it brought. His independent spirit, determination, and love of life will be remembered by all who knew him.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Cheryl Ann Deaver and his brothers and sisters, Cecil Deaver, Helen Sosebee, Geneva Haygood, Horace Deaver and Lloyd Richard Deaver .

He is survived by his children, Janet (Mark) Williams and Donald (Deborah) Deaver; his grandchildren, Ashley Deaver and Cassidy (Henry) Hunt; along with other nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Carl will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, his years of honest work, and his enduring love of motorcycles. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
