Bonita Bagley Crew, 51 of Madison, died December 16, 2020. Bonita was the daughter of the late Hubert and Marie Jones Bagley. She was born on December 8, 1969 in Dalton, GA. Bonita grew up in Tunnel Hill, GA. Following college, she attended Piedmont College in Demorest. She then began working for the State of Georgia. Most recently, working for the Department of Family and Children Services in Morgan County. Bonita worked until her health prevented it.
Bonita Crew was very talented. She enjoyed any type of craft and working with her hands. Bonita enjoyed arts, reading true crime novels and anything relating to the British Royal Family. She was a talented cook and baker. Bonita also collected tea sets.
Bonita Crew is survived by her husband of 17 years, Bill Crew. She also leaves a sister, Beth Ballew (Darrell) and two brothers, Dennis Bagley (Patricia) and Buddy Bagley (Jeanie). Also surviving are a niece, Valerie Zwicker and nephews, Adam Bagley, Andy Ballew and Derrick Bagley. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a sister, Sheila Bagley.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 6-8 pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11 am on Saturday, December 19, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
